Hajj registration time extended till April 11

Hajj will be held on June 28 subject to sighting of the moon

The time for registering for hajj has been extended till April 11.

This information was revealed in a circular signed by Abul Kashem Muhammad Shaheen, deputy secretary of Hajj-1 branch of the Ministry of Religious Affairs on Friday.

According to the latest information provided by the ministry, 9,996 people have been officially registered and 1,09,216 people have been registered privately for the purpose of Hajj. The Hajj registration server will be shut down voluntarily once the registration quota is reached.

Hajj will be held on June 28 subject to sighting of the moon. According to the agreement with Saudi Arabia executed last January 9, a total of 1,27,198 people will be able to go to Hajj from Bangladesh this year.
