Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary squally wind is likely to occur in most parts of Bangladesh, including the capital Dhaka, the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecast.
As Dhaka once again topped the list of cities with the most polluted air, light rain brought some relief to the city's residents on Sunday morning.
More light or moderate rain may occur intermittently and there is a low chance of heavy rain, the BMD said in its bulletin.
Some places in Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Khulna and Sylhet divisions, and two or more places in Dhaka, Barisal and Chittagong divisions may see rain or thundershowers in the next 24 hours, it continued.
Due to rain, day temperature may fall slightly, but night temperature may remain nearly unchanged across the country.
In 24 hours to Sunday morning, the highest rainfall was recorded at four millimetres in Tangail.
Meanwhile, three millimetres of rainfall was recorded in Ishwardi, two millimetres in Tetulia, and one millimetre in Mymensingh, Netrokona, Satkhira, Dimla of Nilphamari and Kalapara of Patuakhali.
Apart from this, there was light rain in Patuakhali, Sylhet, Sandwip, Rangamati, Rangpur, Nikli and Gopalganj.
