Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader on Thursday emphasized on quick completion of the Bus Rapid Transit-BRTA project started from the Hazrat Shah Jalal Airport to Joydebpur intersection within the stipulated timeframe.
The urgency surfaced while Chinese Ambassador in Bangladesh Yao Wen made a courtesy call on Obaidul Quader, also the general secretary of the ruling Awami League at his secretariat office here this morning.
During the call on, the Chinese envoy said “all the necessary steps would be taken to complete the project within the quick possible time.” Even the Chinese Ambassador also gave importance on strengthening party to party relations between the two countries.
The envoy also invited a delegation of the ruling Awami League to visit China.
