State Minister for ICT Division Zunaid Ahmed Palak on Tuesday launched the national mobile browser Torjoni, commemorating the historic March 7 speech of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
The launch event was held at the Bangladesh Computer Council auditorium with BCC Executive Director Ranjit Kumar in the chair.
ICT Division Secretary Md Shamsul Arefin, Dhaka University Institute of Information Technology (IIT)'s Prof BM Mainul Hossain and Digital Literacy Center Project Director Saiful Alam Khan addressed the event, among others.
The browser was made under the initiative of the ICT Division.
Earlier, the state minister paid homage to Bangabandhu by placing a wreath at his sculpture on the premises of the ICT Tower in Dhaka's Agargaon.
Secretary Md Shamsul Arefin and senior officials of the division were present on the occasion.
