Police have filed an unnatural death case in connection with the explosion on the third floor of a building named "Shirin Mansion" in Dhaka's Science Lab area.
The case was filed with New Market police station on Monday night.
Abdul Latif, officer-in-charge of the police station confirmed this information to the Dhaka Tribune on Tuesday afternoon.
The incident is under investigation. The cause of the explosion will be known soon, said the OC.
At least three people were killed and dozens were injured in the explosion in Dhaka's Science Lab area on Sunday morning.
The incident, which took place at around 10:52am, left part of the three-storey “Shirin Mansion” partially collapsed.
