The "Little Artist 4" competition winners' 90 artworks will be showcased at the Abinta Gallery of Fine Arts during a two-day exhibition.
The opening of the exhibition took place at around 11am on Saturday, and the closing is on Monday, said a press release.
The art competition took place in 3 divisions which are Dhaka, Chittagong and Sylhet. Artist Kanak Chanpa Chakma was the honorable guest of the opening ceremony.
Abinta Gallery of Fine Arts collected 90 winning artworks in the first, second and third positions and there were two groups (senior and junior sections) from each school.
A total of 18 privileged and underprivileged schools from around the country participated in the exhibition.
Scholastica, DPS STS School, ABC School, School of Hope, Hope International School, Amader Pathshala and other schools participated in the competition from Dhaka.
Chittagong Grammar School, Frobel Academy took part from Chittagong division and RISE,
Khajangchibari School, BBIS participated from Sylhet Division.
Renowned artist Hamiduzzaman Khan, artist Ivy Zaman, artist Fareha Zeba, artist Kamal Uddin, artist Amit Nandi and many other renowned artists were the judges of the competitions.
The theme was “Your City in Your Eyes” and from this theme, the Abinta Gallery of Fine Arts wanted to see how children see their cities.
The aim of Abinta Gallery of Fine Arts was to make a bond between the privileged and underprivileged students to reduce discrimination in society.
