Hotel Sarina Dhaka is arranging a Mughal food festival named “Dawat E Mughal”.
The Mughlai food festival started on Wednesday and will continue till 28 January 2023, from 6:30pm to 10:30pm, according to a press release.
Keeping the regal history in mind to revive the royalty of Mughlai cuisine the menu of Dawat E Mughal has been skilfully crafted with 100+ Sahi Mughal items. The items are well segregated in different counters.
Apart from the food counters, there will be a live station of Mughlai items and unlimited ice cream corner as well.
This 10-day long food festival is bringing a cyclic menu so that the guests can enjoy different varieties of the epic Mughal food heritage.
To revive the Mughal culture the festival offers sherbets such as gulab lassi, khus sharbat, sweet lassi, rooh afza, badami lassi, etc.
In the appetizer section, there will be dahi vada, papdi chaat, chicken shorba, curried carrot shorba, etc and great spread of salads along with dressings and condiments.
CourtesyAs the Mughals had a liking towards meat there will be a lot of meat options too such as noorani murgh, hariyali machhli chaman, murgh musallam, tandoori machhli, chicken jali, mutton shami, chicken afghani, beef bihari, beef chap tandoori vegetable, mutton shikhampuri, chicken tandoori, beef galouti kebab, etc.
In mains, there will be paneer kulcha, steamed rice, awadhi biryani, beef kofta nazakat curry, mutton aloo curry, murgh zafrani korma, fish tikka masala, vegetable do pyaza, sultani daal, kacchi biryani, beef pasanda, nizami gosht, chicken roast, methi machli masala, dhungare baughan, dal makhani, garlic naan, steamed rice, morog pulao, beef aloo curry, mutton do pyaza, chicken roast, mahi kofta in korma gravy, aloo akbari, dal makhani, and chicken ragout.
In the live station there will be karmi kebab, mutton seekh kebab chicken hariyali tandoori, beef chapli, chicken chap, hara bhara kebab, chicken jali, mutton shami, chicken afghani, beef bihari, beef chap, chicken boti, mutton kakori, chicken tandoori, etc.
For a sweet ending in the dessert section, there will be zorba, chana dal barfi, sooji halwa, jalebi, firni, double ka meetha, ananas ka muzaffar, carrot barfi, atte ka halwa jalebi, firni shahi tukda, etc.
