Kailash Satyarthi urges world not to give shelter to assassins of Bangabandhu


Nobel Laureate Kailash Satyarthi came to Dhaka to attend a seminar which will be held on Saturday

Nobel Laureate and Indian social activist Kailash Satyarthi has protested the killing of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman along with his family members on August 15, 1975.

At the same time, he called upon the world's people not to give shelter to the assassins of August 15.

Nobel Laureate Kailash Satyarthi, who is visiting Dhaka, made this call on Friday while visiting Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Memorial Museum at Dhanmondi 32 of the capital.

He also signed the visitor's book, reports Bangla Tribune. He reached Dhaka on Friday morning.

The Nobel laureate has come to Dhaka to participate as the main discussant at a seminar on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the 31st BCS Cadre Association.

Members of the association welcomed Kailash Satyarthi at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.

The seminar will be held on Saturday afternoon at Bangla Academy.

Satyarthi, the Indian child rights and education activist won the 2014 Nobel peace prize with Pakistan's Malala Yousafzai.
