A Dhaka court on Wednesday framed charges against Evaly CEO Mohammad Rassel and his wife Shamima Nasrin in a fraud case.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mehedi Hasan also fixed February 18 recording witness testimonies.
Accused Rassel was produced in court, while Shamima, who is on bail, did not appear before it and applied for time through her lawyer.
The court rejected the time plea and issued an arrest warrant for her.
A customer filed the case at the Gulshan police station accusing the two of embezzling Tk3.10 lakh.
After investigating the case, the police pressed charges against the two Evaly bosses.
