The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Wednesday forecast light rain or drizzle at one or two places in Chittagong division in the 24 hours till 9am on Thursday.
"Light rain or drizzle is likely to occur at one or two places in Chittagong division. The weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy skies elsewhere," said a BMD bulletin.
Moderate to thick fog may occur at some places over the river basins and light to moderate fog may occur elsewhere from midnight till Thursday morning, it added.
Night temperatures may fall by 1-3 degrees Celsius and day temperatures may rise slightly.
The highest temperature on Tuesday was recorded at 29.4 degrees Celsius in Teknaf of Chittagong division and the lowest temperature on Wednesday was 9.2 degrees Celsius in Tetulia of Rangpur division.
The sun will set at 5.20pm on Wednesday and rise at 6.40am on Thursday in the capital.
