A two-day blood donation program was organized at ULAB on the joint initiative of the ULAB Social Welfare Club and Rhythm Blood Bank on Sunday.
The program was attended by Selima Quader Chowdhury, advisor of the ULAB Social Welfare Club, and doctors and volunteers of Rhythm Blood Bank, according to a press release issued on Thursday.
The program was attended by the students of ULAB.
The main objective of the program was to create a proper campaign about blood donation among general students and to motivate them to donate blood.
Besides, the blood donated by the students in the program is distributed free of charge to the poor and common people by Rhythm Blood Bank.
Besides, in the program, a student had the opportunity to get his blood group tested free of charge and get a doctor's advice.
Above all, the program has been implemented through the participation and blood donation of numerous students at ULAB.
