A solemn gathering dedicated to the 51st anniversary of the grand victory of the Bengali people in the 1971 Liberation War was held in Dhaka.
The meeting was attended by Freedom Fighters, members of Bangladesh-Russia Friendship Society including General Secretary Prof Md Shahidullah Sikder and other public organizations.

Speakers thanked the USSR for the decisive contribution to the struggle for freedom and emphasized the continuity of Russia in the development and prosperity of the country.
