The UIU Spartacus team from United International University (UIU) has become the champion in the International Robowar Bangladesh Zonal Round of iTech Expo-IUBAT 2022 in association with Techfest IIT (Indian Institute of Technology) Bombay 2022-2023, India.
The top universities of Bangladesh such as Buet, Sust, NSU, Brac, Aust, IUB, AIUB, DIU, Duet, IIUC, USTC and other universities joined in this competition. This zonal competition was presented by ASTONAFA and Reliant and was organized by IUBAT Robotics Club.
A team of five members from UIU Electrical & Electronic Club participated in Robowar (60 KG) competition. They are Atikur Rahman, Ismail Hossain, Sakibul Hasan, Jinedin Jidan and Zulfikar Ali Sakib.
It is mentionable that, in 2018, a team of UIUEEC Club also became Champion in Bangladesh Zonal Round of ‘Techkriti-2018 (IIT Kanpur, India).
The team will join the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay), India with their developed UIU Spartacus (Robowar 60 KG) to proudly represent the university and Bangladesh in the upcoming international final of Techfest - 2022 on December 16-18, 2022.
A total of 8 teams of roboware will join the international event at IIT Bombay in India.
