Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan has said the recent escape of two militants was carefully planned over a long period of time.
“There was obvious neglect of duty and the militants took advantage of that,” the home minister said on Tuesday while responding to questions from journalists at an event in Gazipur.
“Two probe committees have been formed to find out the people responsible for the escape. We still have not received the reports yet. We will take action once we get the reports,” he said.
The home minister also asked prison officials to take extra precaution while transferring accused from jails to courts.
