CUB starts 3-day training program at Cuet Sheikh Kamal IT Business Incubator

CUB EEE students will receive professional training and attend workshops on Python, Machine Learning, Microgrid design and operation

The department of EEE of Canadian University of Bangladesh is holding a three-day training and workshop at Sheikh Kamal IT Business Incubator (SKIB) of Cuet from Saturday to Monday.

As a part of the first EEE International Carnival and Professional Attachment, to be held on Saturday-Thursday, Cuet’s Prof M Moshiul Hoque, director of Sheikh Kamal IT Business Incubator and dean of the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering, inaugurated the program on Sunday at SKIB Auditorium in Chittagong. 

Prof MD Shahrukh Adnan Khan, head of EEE and director, Center for Research and Innovation, Canadian University of Bangladesh, initiated this innovative training session and carnival to create tech leaders by providing skills-based education in order to prepare students for the industry. 

Dr Shahrukh expressed his gratitude to Prof Moshiul for giving this opportunity of continuous training and workshop program to the EEE students of Canadian University of Bangladesh. 

As part of the program, the students will receive professional training and attend workshops on Python, Machine Learning, Microgrid design and operation. In addition, they will have multiple sessions on the power sector and tech-talk on industry exposure. Furthermore, they will also conduct an industrial session on the Raozan Power Plant. 

SM Tasmeeh Ahsan, assistant professor, Sadribul Hassan, lecturer, Amanat Hossain, lecturer, and Md Siddik, technical officer of EEE, joined the program, among others.
