The Bangladesh Coast Guard on Friday morning recovered two bodies following the capsize of the stone-laden lighter vessel MV Sultan Sanja in the Bay of Bengal on Wednesday.
Four people are still missing.
Confirming the matter, Captain Kazi Shah Alam, zonal commander of Coast Guard East Zone, said the vessel sank at 3pm on Wednesday.
Six people including the sailor of that ship went missing at the time.
The Coast Guard is trying to find the four others, he added.
