National flag carrier Biman Bangladesh is set to launch the first flights on the Dhaka-Guangzhou routes from Thursday.
The flight will take off from Dhaka’s Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport around 11am and land in China’s Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport around 4:45pm.
The returning flight from Guangzhou will take off at 7:45pm and reach Dhaka at 9:30pm. Biman Bangladesh disclosed the matter in a media statement issued on Tuesday.
Biman Managing Director and CEO Md Zahid Hossain met with Chinese envoy Li Jiming to discuss the flights on the route.
They also talked about the Dhaka-Kunming flight which is expected to be launched soon. Passengers may book a flight from any Biman sales centre, according to the statement.
It added that returning passengers will have to book flights on the www.biman-airlines.com website or any Biman-approved travel agency.
Passengers have been requested to adhere to the travel advisories available on the Biman website or the Chinese Embassy in Dhaka website.
