Biman Bangladesh Airlines is set to launch an online check-in service for domestic flights for the convenience of its passengers.
The new feature, which will start from June 1, would allow travellers to select their preferred seats on the planes, said a press release on Monday.
The national flag carrier is planning to introduce the newly launched service for international routes as well from July 1.
The initiative would allow passengers to get their digital boarding passes easily from Biman’s official website (www.biman-airlines.com), so they can save their time at the airport while travelling.

The check-ins can be done between a maximum of 24 hours and minimum of three hours before departure from the airport.
However, if a passenger is travelling on a return flight, they will need to check the website to re-register after they reach their destination, reads the press release.
Furthermore, after completing the web check-in from the website, the travellers have to show the digital or printed boarding pass at the web check-in counter of the airport they were travelling from.
Passengers are required to deposit their baggage at the airport's web check-in counter at least an hour before departure. Besides, regular check-in services at the airports will also be available for the passengers.
