Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal on Thursday said Bangladesh's per capita income would increase to $12,500 if Smart Bangladesh is implemented.
“In Smart Bangladesh, per capita income would stand at $12,500, less than 3% of people will live below the poverty line, and extreme poverty will drop to zero,” he said while proposing the 2023–24 fiscal year in the national parliament.
Besides, inflation will be limited to between 4-5%.
