Different areas of Bangladesh, including the capital Dhaka, experienced nor'wester and rain on Saturday, and the met office expects the temperatures to drop a little as a result.
Although the sky was clear in the morning, it became cloudier as the day progressed. By noon, the sky had become completely dark all around, followed by storms.
The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) forecasted more rain or thundershowers in different parts of Bangladesh in the next 24 hours.
Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at many places in Rangpur, Dhaka, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions, and at a few places in Rajshahi, Khulna, Barisal and Chittagong divisions, with hails at isolated places, said the met office bulletin issued in the morning.
Day and night temperatures may remain nearly unchanged over the country, it added.
The highest temperature on Friday was 35.6 degrees Celsius in Dhaka and Saturday's lowest temperature, 21 degrees Celsius, was recorded in Bogra.
The highest rainfall was recorded at 18mm in Tetulia.
