There are more males than females in Bangladesh, according to the latest census.
Of the total population of 165,158,616, as many as 81,712,824 are males, while 83,347,206 are females.
The primary data of the Population and Housing Census 2022 was revealed at an event at Bangabandhu International Conference Center in Dhaka on Wednesday.
The country’s population was 144,043,697 in 2011, according to the previous census.
