Two workers have been crushed to death while digging a well in an under-construction building in Tangail.
The incident took place in Ashekpur area of Tangail municipal area on Tuesday. The names of the deceased were not immediately available.
Upon receiving the news, the members of the fire service recovered the bodies from the well.
Rezaul Karim, assistant director of Tangail Fire Service, said that several workers went to dig a well. Of them, two workers went deep into the well when they were crushed beneath the terrain.
