A negative Covid-19 test within 72 hours of entry is required

Update : 27 Dec 2020, 08:27 PM

Biman Bangladesh Airlines has announced to resume flights to Muscat following the lifting of ban on international flights by the government of Oman.

In a media statement on Sunday, the national flag carrier said it would start operating the regular Dhaka-Muscat-Dhaka flight from December 29 (Tuesday).

Passengers of cancelled flights have been asked to contact with nearest Biman sales office.

Seats will be allotted on the priority basis, subject to vacancies in the flight, the release also said.

Oman closed its borders recently as a precautionary measure amid the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.

On Sunday, the middle-eastern country said that it would reopen its land, air and sea borders from Tuesday.

A negative Covid-19 polymerase test within 72 hours of entry is required for people from all countries and another test will be taken by those arriving from abroad at any of Oman's airports, a government Twitter account said.
