US transportation network company DRiViLL is going to start its journey in Bangladesh.
The US app-based company will launch its ride-sharing service in the country on September 8, a press release said on Wednesday.
Along with Bangladesh, the company will also launch its services in two other countries, Mohammad Wahid Ujjwal, co-founder and CEO of DRiViLL said.
Wahid, an American of Bangladeshi descent, regarding DRiViLL's journey to Bangladesh, said: "Our company started its journey in early 2019.”
Due to Covid-19, there will be a small launching ceremony.

“We will operate our services as per the government guideline," Wahid said.
Passengers are often terrified of ride-sharing facilities as well as safety. With that in mind, DRiViLL has placed particular emphasis on its security, the release said.
Security and low-cost ride-sharing services are the main goals of DRiViLL.
As in the developed world, current and modern technology has been used in the DRiViLL app, so that drivers and passengers can travel without fear.
Due to Covid-19, ride-sharing service is closed all over the country except in Dhaka on the instructions of the Bangladesh government.
Therefore, the activities of DRiViLL will start only in Dhaka. However, anyone can go from Dhaka to any part of Bangladesh through its intercity service.
