The death toll from the launch capsize on Monday in the Buriganga River has climbed to 34 with the recovery of another body from the river.
The recovered body was of a man aged around 40 years around 5:15pm on Tuesday, however, his identity could not be confirmed, said Ershad Hossain, the duty officer at the Fire Service and Civil Defence control room.
The capsized launch Morning Bird was brought to the surface and dragged near the shore earlier.
Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority (BIWTA) had called off the salvage operation at 2:30pm.
Two fire service patrol teams were still at the scene of the crash, and they found the body.
Earlier, the diving teams of Fire Service and Civil Defence and Bangladesh Coast Guard recovered the body of a child around 12:45pm on Tuesday.
Divers rescued a man on Monday night as they searched for survivors from the capsized launch 13 hours after it sank in the Buriganga River.
The man was found inside a closed-off compartment of the capsized vessel, and was rushed to the Mitford Hospital for immediate medical treatment.

As footage from a CCTV camera in Sadarghat, on the other side of the river, revealed and according to the authorities and witnesses, the Morning Bird capsized in seconds after the bigger launch, named Mayur-2, crashed into it while travelling backwards.
The three-deck Mayur-2 was on its way to dock at Sadarghat's terminal for Chandpur-bound vessels after unloading passengers at the Lalkuthi terminal.
