Biman Bangladesh Airlines has arranged a special flight to bring back Bangladeshi nationals from Delhi on April 24, in accordance with government directive.
Mokabbir Hossain, MD, Biman Bangladesh Airlines, confirmed the initiative.
Tickets for this flight will be available for purchase on Biman’s mobile app and website, from April 21 to 2pm on April 23.
The flight will be able to accommodate 150 passengers in economy class and 12 passengers in business class.
The decision for the special flight comes in the middle of a ban on all passenger flights till April 30 in an effort to combat the spread of coronavirus.
Covid-19 has so far infected 2,948 people in and killed 101 people in Bangladesh.
Globally, the virus has infected 2,490,516 people and killed 170,590 people thus far.
