Esrat Karim Eve, founder of AMAL Foundation, has been selected as one of the honourees for Forbes’ 30 under 30 Asia Class of 2020.
Esrat’s non-profit organization supports marginalized communities of Bangladesh through capacity building and disaster relief.
She took to her Facebook account on Thursday to express her feelings regarding the selection and thanked all her teammates at AMAL Foundation, her mentors, and also her partners for this achievement.
AMAL Foundation operates centres across the country that teach victims of child marriages and domestic violence as well as divorcees and widows skills such as making saree, shawls, wooden accessories and herbal products.
The foundation is currently working with more than 52,000 people living in the villages of Bangladesh.
