Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has received the t-shirts, mugs and posters of the upcoming Joy Bangla concert to be held on March 7 this year.
This year, the concert will receive a special treatment as it falls on Mujib Year, the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
The event is being organized by Young Bangla, an initiative of Centre for Research and Information (CRI), said a statement received on Sunday.

The concert will be held at the Army Stadium in Dhaka in remembrance of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s historic speech on the same day in 1971.
Fuad and Friends, Arbovirus, Cryptic Fate, Shunno, Nemesis, Vikings, Avoid Rafa, Chirkut, Minar, Lalon, and F Minor, among others, are set to make appearance at the event.

The event will also feature graphical representation of Bangabandhu’s iconic speech.
Registration for the event will commence shortly. Valid national ID, passport, phone number, and email address will be required.
The event will be open for all.
