Bangladesh Army’s regimental colour award ceremony was held at Signal Training Centre and School in Jessore Cantonment.
Chief of Army Staff General Aziz Ahmed presented the regimental colours as the chief guest yesterday, said an ISPR press release.
The regimental colour (flag) is awarded to units of army for their special contribution in the service.
In this regard, Bangladesh Army’s 8 Field Regiment Artillery, 12 Field Regiment Artillery, 36 AD Regiment Artillery, 3 Engineer Battalion and 1 Signal Battalion participated in the colour parade and received the awards from the army chief.
