The primary application process for the Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS) “National ICT Awards” has begun.
The application process started on Saturday and will continue till July 20. This is the second year BASIS has organized this ICT award event.
During a press conference held at the BASIS auditorium, it said winners of the award will be nominated for the Asia Pacific ICT “Alliance (APICTA)” Awards to be held in China.
BASIS President Syed Almas Kabir, and Convener of Basis National ICT Awards and BASIS Director, Didarul Alam Sunny, spoke at the press meet.
This year there are 105 awards in 35 categories, with a special category for students.
The award is also intended to provide a platform to encourage developing export winning ICT products and services, to provide networking opportunities for the participants, to encourage strategic business alliances and cooperation among participants, and to draw potential investments as well.
