Verdict on Tareque, Munier’s death February 22

Al Mahmud Faizul Kabir, additional district and sessions judge of Manikganj passed the order. Bus Driver Jamir Hossain, the main accused of the case, was present before the court during the hearing. Later, the court continued his bail. Earlier, on February 14, the prosecution asked for more time though the hearing was scheduled to take place on that day. The court heard a total of 26 witnesses in this case. Among them prosecution placed 24 witnesses and defenders placed two witnesses. On August 13, 2011, Tareque Masud, Mishuk Munier and three others died in a road accident on Dhaka - Aricha highway at Ghior upazila in Manikganj.
