Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Mohammad Nizamuddin Ahmed returned home on Thursday, after attending the 6th Doha International Maritime Defence Exhibition and Conference (DIMDEX) 2018.
High-ups of his force greeted and received him at Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka, according to a press release issued by Inter Services Public Relation Directorate.
During his stay in Qatar, Admiral Nizamuddin also joined the Middle East Naval Commanders Conference and held meetings with Qatari navy chief Maj Gen Mohammed Nasser Al Mohannadi and Italian navy chief Admiral Valter Girardelli and naval officials of different countries and discussed bilateral and multilateral issues with them.
The Bangladesh navy chief left for Qatar on March 11 to join the defence exhibition.
