Two BNP party leaders have been interrogated by the London Metropolitan Police Service regarding the attack on Bangladesh High Commission in London.
A source within the Wandsworth police station in London confirmed the matter of investigation that took place on Thursday and Friday.
However, the source declined to give out any other information about the BNP leaders for the sake of the investigation.
An anonymous source within the Bangladesh High Commission also confirmed the news of interrogation of the two BNP leaders.
Bangladesh High Commission media wing In-charge AKM Kamal Lohani said: “This is a sensitive affair. The High Commission is maintaining constant contact with London police. The police have informed us that they are investigating all the evidence and CCTV footage.
“We have sent a press release to the media after the attack, and news of any further progress also will be informed in a similar manner.” he added.

BNP leaders staged a protest on Wednesday at the premises of the Bangladesh High Commission in London centring the verdict in the Zia Orphanage Trust graft case.
At one stage they forced entry into the High Commission and vandalized pictures of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, and destroyed office property.
Later London police arrested UK Secha Sebok Dol President Nasir Ahmed Shaheen regarding involvement in the incident.This article was first published on banglatribune.com
