The Hindu community in the country is set to celebrate the Saraswati Puja nationwide on Monday worshipping Saraswati, the goddess of knowledge, music, art and culture.
The puja is celebrated every year on the fifth day of the bright fortnight of the month of Magh, as Goddess Saraswati was born on this day.
Hindu devotees, especially students, will celebrate the puja in different educational institutions and temples.
The puja will be arranged at different places in the capital, including Jagannath Hall premises of Dhaka University campus and Ramkrishna Mission.
