Primary and Mass Education Adviser Prof Dr Bidhan Ranjan Roy Podder on Monday said that Saraswati Puja plays a crucial role in fostering a knowledge-based humane society as the festival upholds the values of wisdom and humanity.
“Saraswati is the goddess of wisdom, knowledge, and the arts. Worshipping Saraswati means worshipping knowledge and arts, and through the pursuit of these, individuals can become truly humane,” he said.
The adviser was addressing as the chief guest at "Bani Archana" ceremony at the Ramna Kali temple in the capital Dhaka, organized by the Bangladesh Secretariat Puja Celebration and Welfare Council.
