The executive committee if NBA was announced in a programme organised by NBA in association with Universal Medical College Hospital in the capital's Gulshan Club.
While inaugurating the programme, Hasanul Haq Inu, the information minister said: “News presentation is a sensitive and hard job. Interested ones and newcomers should know about their responsibilities first and then come to this profession."
Iqbal Bahar, media and communication secretary of NBA, stated that news anchoring is yet not a solid career in Bangladeshi media but the situation needs to be changed.
Earlier, an election was held on September 2 last year, paving the way to form the new committee comprising fourteen members who would hold authority for next two years.
Munirul Islam was elected as NBA president while Chowdhury Daulat M Jafry as general secretary and Javed Kader as vice president, Farabi Hafiz as organising secretary.
