Ahmed Kamal, the younger brother of BNP founder and late President Ziaur Rahman, has died at his Sabujbagh residence in Dhaka. He was 70 years old.
According to the BNP chairperson's Media Wing Officer Sairul Kabir Khan, Kamal breathed his last around 4pm on Thursday.
Kamal, also a former general manager of the Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation, had been suffering from high blood pressure and diabetes.
