Mayor Annisul shifted to rehab from ICU

The physical condition of Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) Mayor Annisul Huq, undergoing treatment at a London hospital, has improved. He was shifted to rehab for physiotherapy from the ICU around Tuesday noon, his personal assistant Mizanur Rahman told the Bangla Tribune, quoting family sources. “The doctors have said that the mayor is out of danger,” Mizanur said. “His physical condition has improved and he can breathe now.” Annisul would be given physiotherapy now and then the doctors would begin the next phase of treatment. He had fallen sick during a family tour to London in July.
