Sajeeb Wajed Joy: My mother is doing well

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s son Sajeeb Wazed Joy has said his mother was recovering well after the gall bladder operation. He made the statement at a status posted on his Facebook page on Thursday. In the post, he said: “My mother underwent surgery Monday night to remove her gall bladder. The surgery was performed by a surgeon friend of mine at my local hospital.”Joy said: “It went extremely well and she came home the very next morning. She is now recovering well. “She is doing well.” He also thanked everyone for all their concerns regarding the health of the prime minister and for wishing her on her birthday which was on Thursday. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, currently in the US, underwent a successful gallbladder operation in Washington on Wednesday.
