Due to unforeseen visa restrictions, a Pakistani woman and an Indian man found comfort in their attachment through virtual means, creating an exceptional cross-border love story that defies convention.

Despite the distance, Ameena, who is from Karachi, and her lover, Arbaaz, who is from Jodhpur, were able to exchange vows online recently.

According to media reports, their families already had a close relationship thanks to a history of past marriages between their respective sides.

Arbaaz’s father, Mohammad Afzal, said Ameena's family had suggested a similar arrangement after hearing about his grandson's happy union with a Pakistani woman.

Arbaaz's “baraat” (groom's procession) happily gathered at Jodhpur's Oswal Samaj Bhawan, symbolizing the virtual union of the couple.

Arbaaz and Ameena had decided on a virtual ceremony to manage the many legal nuances.

The choice was made after realizing that Indian authorities would not recognize a marriage that was legally recognized in Pakistan. A formal document recognizing their relationship was the result of their digital marriage.

The anticipation for Ameena's arrival in Jodhpur is still very much there as their story develops. What stands in their way are the bureaucratic channels of obtaining visas and clearing immigration formalities.

Nevertheless, the couple's bond and devotion serve as proof of the power of love that knows no bounds.
