Mia Khalifa's response to Malala controversy backfires

Social media users on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram have recently slammed Mia Khalifa, a former adult film actress, for posting a picture with her face photoshopped in an image of Mother Mary. She made the post after an image believed to be of Malala Yousafzai went viral about a week back where netizens compared her dress up with that of Mia.

A picture of Malala Yousafzai went viral last week on internet that shows she was wearing jeans and jacket with scarf.

Though many did not believe Malala was wearing that dress in the picture and many came to support her, but a large number of social media users trolled Malala for her dress and compared her with Mia Khalifa.

However, Mia responded to the controversy about Malala by sharing a doctored image of her face to a picture of Virgin Mary. As a caption of the picture Mia wrote: “When a news outlet mistakes Malala for Mia Khalifa.”
