The vogue of social media has already retained people to be occupied every moment. In a recent revelation, it has been found that only Facebook has more than two billion active monthly users, which means, more than 25% of earth’s population logs in to their Facebook accounts at least once every month. The picture in Bangladesh is slightly incompatible, as the latest findings of Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) show that only two percent of the 29 million registered Facebook users in Bangladesh are active. But, we have seen how fascinated people become when they hear the “ding” from their messenger app on their beloved phones. A recent study of Cumulus Media shows that in every internet minute, an average of 3.4 million search queries are made on Google, 900,000 logs in on Facebook, 4.1 million views are accumulated on Youtube, 1.8 million snaps are captured on Snapchat and 156 million emails are sent, worldwide.
