Amanullah Aman: No chance of compromise with govt

Urging leaders and activists to take the field, BNP's Dhaka Metropolitan North convener Aman Ullah Aman on Monday said that there will be no compromise with government.

He said: “There will be no compromise. Let's remain on the field. We will all die on the road. There will be no election under Sheikh Hasina, it will not be allowed.”

At that time, he termed the incident of arresting him from a peaceful sit-in program and sending the fruit to the hospital on Saturday as ‘to rob peter to pay paul.'

Aman said these things at the BNP rally at Suhrawardy Udyan on Monday afternoon.

The opposition BNP held this program to protest the "attack and arrest" made by Awami League activists and police during the Saturday ‘peaceful sit-in program" at the entry points of Dhaka.

Amanullah was arrested from Gabtoli last Saturday.

When he fell sick there, he was taken to hospital. Fruits and juices were sent there on behalf of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. She sent a representative to inquire about Aman's health.

“When You (PM) sent the fruits, I was sleeping after taking sleeping pill. I didn't talk to anyone. They also played a drama with Gayeshwar Chandra Roy in the name of serving lunch. There is no use of showing drama. Sheikh Hasina has to resign. The election will be held under a neutral government.”

Amanullah Aman also urged leaders and activists to remain vigilant so that no more bodies fall in BNP's program.
