Sylhet Red Crescent receives new bus and ambulance

Sylhet Red Crescent Maternity and Child Welfare Hospital has received a new ambulance, while the Sylhet Red Crescent Nursing College was gifted a new bus.

On this occasion, a handover ceremony was organized on Saturday at 11am.

These vehicles were provided by the central office of the Bangladesh Red Crescent Society.

The event featured a brief discussion where the chief guest, Muhammad Aminul Islam, Treasurer of the Bangladesh Red Crescent Society, delivered his speech.

During his speech, Treasurer Aminul Islam highlighted various development plans for Sylhet Red Crescent and said: "We aim to establish this organization as a truly humanitarian institution. In the future, we will connect Sylhet Red Crescent Nursing College with Holy Cross and other nursing colleges."

He also encouraged Red Crescent officials and staff to work sincerely.

Before the discussion, the ambulance keys for the Sylhet Red Crescent Maternity and Child Welfare Hospital and the bus keys for the Nursing College were handed over, followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony, formally inaugurating the vehicles.
