Sheikh Fazilatunesa Mujib Eye Hospital and Training Institute, Gopalganj felicitated seven women freedom fighters Wednesday afternoon.
The hospital's director Professor Dr Nahid Ferdausi felicitated freedom fighters Rifa Begum, Kalpana Rani Saha, Ichcha Basu, Gauri Ball, Rokeya Shirin, Hena and Amena Begum with crests and gifts.
Dhaka TribuneFreedom fighter Rokeya Shirin said: “Many institutions have welcomed us before. But this is a different reception. We have been honoured by this institution named after Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's mother. We are grateful to the organization for this honour.”

This nation is eternally grateful to them. We are blessed to salute them in the month of great independence.”
