Hathazari Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Md Shahidul Alam has stressed identifying the core sources behind communal tension so that the authorities can solve the real problems and overcome the barriers in promoting social and communal harmony.
Hathazari municipality in Chittagong organized the program in the upazila on Thursday.
People from different walks of life along with high officials of the municipality and journalists from print and electronic media attended the event.
Shahidul Alam urged everyone to remain united under one umbrella and work for the development of the municipality.
He further said: “If people at the grassroots level maintain communal harmony, we will one day come out as an ideal country."
