A woman has been killed in fresh landslide in Bandarban's Naikkhongchhari following incessant rain continued there for the three days.
The deceased is Chemna Khatun, 45, resident of Fakirpara under the upazila.
Naikkhongchhari police station officer-in-charge Towhid Kabir confirmed it to the Dhaka Tribune Thursday.

Her daughter Amena Khatun was also injured in the mishap that took place on Wednesday. She was taken to Upazila Health Complex.
The lowland areas of Naikkhongchhari, Lama and Alikadam upazilas have been flooded due to the torrential rain and people there are living in fear of further landslide.
Over 150 people including several officers and members of the army were killed in landslides triggered by torrential rain in Rangamati, Bandarban, Chittagong, Khagrachhari and Cox’s Bazar districts last month.
