Mild heat wave sweeps over parts of Bangladesh

A mild heat wave will sweep over the regions of Rajshahi, Khulna, Mongla, Satkhira, Jessore and Sylhet – and  may continue, the Met office has said. 

Additionally, rain or thundershowers—accompanied by temporary gusty wind—are likely to occur in one or two areas of the: Rangpur, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Barisal, Chittagong, and Sylhet divisions. The weather may remain dry with a temporary partly-cloudy sky elsewhere over the country, the Met office said on Wednesday, reports BSS.

Day and night temperatures may rise slightly throughout the country.

The sun will set at 6:47pm on Wednesday and rise at 5:10am on Thursday in Dhaka.
