Ferry services on Patuaria-Daulatdia resume after 3hrs

Ferry services on the key Paturia-Daulatdia route resumed Monday night after three hours of disruption caused by dense fog. Tanvir Hossain, manager (finance) of Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Corporation (BIWTC) at Aricha station, said the ferry services were disrupted from 8:30pm to 12am due to poor visibility caused by thick fog. Nine ferries remained stranded at Patuaria ghat and five at Daulatdia ghat while four ferries were stuck in the middle of the river, said the official.
