Besides, another 326 patients recovered from the infectious disease, according to the Directorate General of Health Services.
The latest additions took the country’s death toll to 29,124, the total caseload to 1,952,326 and the total number of recoveries to 1,890,842.
A total of 4,896 samples were tested at 879 labs across the country during the 24-hour period, yielding a positivity rate of 1.04%.
